what is ephemera?

ephemera creates intentional, cinematic films centered on human stories. We especially love stories of conservation, the arts, education, and craft — how we live, work, learn, and create. On-location documentary is our main genre, but we’re also at home in the studio and on scripted productions.

ephemera is based in Omaha, Nebraska and we’ve been making films since 2018.

work with us

We create independent and commissioned work, and can take a production through final execution or integrate into a larger team — we love collaborating with directors, artists, and other creatives. Some areas of focus:

• Non-profit and NGO documentary style pieces for fundraising, impact awareness, recruitment, and more

• Documentary films for exhibition in museums and science centers
• Doc-style and scripted commercial production for agencies and businesses
• Co-productions where we take on part of a production
